Default Truxedo Lo pro or prox15

Looking for a tonneau cover and I am deciding between the Lo pro or the pro x15. I can get the Lo for 399 and the x15 for 431. Just wondering if anyone has recommendations or experience with either of them. Thanks all

I have the Pro X15 and think its great for the price. It is sturdy and keeps water out except a few drops in the corners after absolute down pours or car wash.

It rolls up nicely giving full access to the bed and the material is great. It's like a convertible top material. You can undue two clips and remove the cover completely.

I've had the Lo pro on my last 3 trucks and have no issues with any of them. Easy install and easy uninstall when I remove for hunting season to put my four wheeler in the back.

I am coming from a Loreado on my past truck but my brother in law recommended truxedo to me. I don’t haul a ton. More family stuff when we head out for camping, fishing, and stuff for vacations. It seems like a good price for either of them. It’s just a $30 difference between the 2. I appreciate the feedback.

rddakota. have you had any problems with water leaking. That’s the main thing I am looking for in the cover.

The lo pro is not what I would call "waterproof" or dust proof. In a down pour, I noticed a little will make it's way in through the front (cab to bed end). No bad for a soft cover.

I have the Lo-pro, had the Access Lorado on my last truck - If I had to do it over again I'd get another Lorado. The thing that bothers me most on the Lo-pro is the way the straps that hold the cover work. The Lorado had a nice snap with an adjustable strap, the Lo-pro has a stretchy strap with a hook on it. It can really be a pain trying to stretch the strap and hook it to the little loop - just not enough room for my hand to fit and the strap has to be stretched to it's limit to reach.
I even went as far as having Truxedo send me the longer straps for an 8' cover(mines a 6'6"), which helped - but I still prefered the way the Access cover worked.

fordxlt, thanks a lot for that info. I had the loredo before and loved it. I’m considering a truxedo because a site I have used before has 20% off and Access products are not included in that sale. If it was I would pull the trigger on another one in a second. I saw a lot of positive reviews of the low pro and descent ones on the pro x15 so that’s why I am considering them. Appreciate the info.

I've had the Lo-Pro on mine for about 7 months, and while it leaks a little water at the corners, it is mostly dry, which from what I have read, is pretty typical of any of these soft covers. The fit is nice, and I like the low profile. The X-15 look nice as well, and appears to have a similar profile, so it would just be a matter of deciding if you want the look of a convertible top like the X-15, or the vinyl look of the lo-pro.
