Default True Selective Yellow Fog Lights

I am looking into changing my factory fogs into actual useful fog lights by either swapping out the housing altogether or replacing the bulb. White fog lights are useless in rain and snow, as well as any other time. I do not drive with my fog lights on, like 90% of every other driver does. They actually do more harm than good. If you feel like doing some reading and learning something, read this page on Daniel Stern's website. I found THESE, but I don't know what size will fit the Ford factory housing, or can be modified to fit. I have considered going the painting method as described on DS' website, but would rather just swap them out and be done with it. Thanks!

How much rain, snow and fog do you get in Pasadena? Not being a smart-***. I'm asking because I want these for function, not looks. Any flickering issues?

A bit, none, and not much, but I've driven through fog a couple of times since I've had it and they work well. I don't use 'em very often here. (Although they do actually look kinda cool.) No flicker so far.

Take a look at the Philips Ultinon 2700k. They seem to be a nice yellow, and from a legitimate manufacturer. That said, they're not cheap.

Thank you for the suggestions. I'll look into both of them.

I can't find these anywhere in the proper size; only H8 H11 H16. Do you use these yourself?

Agreed on the preference of yellow fogs for snow/fog. Alternative to yellow bulbs is applying lamin-x to the housing to achieve the yellow output. I run the white version of the dd slf above w an overlay. If I decide to ditch the yellow at somepoint I need to simply peel off the overlay.
