Default Truck Down.....

December 29th, 2019- RIP. My kid was driving down the divided 2 lane highway, pulling my empty car trailer to go pick up a bunch of his brothers things. He was following a flat bed tow truck that slowed down and pulled to the right, he moved to the left lane and as he was passing the truck, it decided to turn left. My kid swerved, but still hit the towtruck and it pushed him in to the ditch, snagged the trailer and left him sliding sideways down the highway. He is fine, so that is the main thing. the truck and trailer? Both write offs. Getting paid out by ICBC and starting fresh in a new truck. Sad, but fun at the same time.

Fortunately, all involved are still in good health!
From what you've posted seems like the flatbed was totally at fault. Hope his insurance pays for your new truck.

He was deemed 100% at fault, both by the police and insurance. I got a good settlement, the next truck is on it's way.

Good to hear everyone is well, could have been so much worse. Sounds like someone wasn't very alert, luckily your son was.

Sad to hear about the accident and loss of the truck and trailer, but always good to hear of a happy ending to a story.

Glad to hear all turned out well; especially your son. Looks like a giant rocker arm switch on the building roof.
