Default Trip

Just took a holiday trip of 1000 miles and I have to say I got 22.4 going up to Michigan and 21.7 coming back. The most disappointing part was the seats......my *** hurt after 3 hours on the road and even my wife complained about hers. Is there anything I can do about the uncomfortable seats.

Get the katskin leather seats and add padding. Get the local upholstery shop to do it and they should be good to go... Let us know what you decide to do.

Since I blew out my back about 6 years ago, the non-power seats kill my back after driving for a while. I have no back pain with the power seats. Just being able to raise and tilt the seat bottom allows me to drive all day with no back issues.

The reported fuel mileage doesn't mean anything without mention of which engine you have.

sorry to hear about your back pain. I can empathize spinal fusion in Dec 2014. Without heated cooled seats with 10 way adjustability I'd be stopping every hour. I still find these seats are a tad to narrow with a poorly designed lumber support.

You should of got a Lariat,,,,,,,, oh wait I have one and feel your pain everytime I sit in it... So you should of got a King Ranch,,,,,, oh wait everyone bitches about them also,,,,, guess you need a Platinum,,,,,,,oh wait many complaints there also...

I wish I would of took the seats out of my 2002 they were still great after 13 years.. And the seat cooler worked better than the stock 2015 one.. It didn't heat my back up!

Sorry I missed you maybe next time?
