Default Transmission temperature

So I've been taking my new truck to the desert recently and im impressed with the performance so far BUT.... Im getting some high transmission temperatures on the dashboard they range from 103-110 celsius (217-230 fahrenheit) and i smell what seems like burning plastic....
I usually stop at 110 till it drops then go again but it rises to fast and too recently and thats only about 45min in the desert so not much.

What do you guys think any feedback would be appreciated, thank you.

Here are some pics of my truck:

Does your truck have an external transmission cooler? What does the owners manual say about transmission temperatures?

My 12'(same transmission as the 15'-16') sits at 93ish *C when fully warmed up. That's the normal. When towing, driving hard through mountains, or racing I see 100-105 all the time and the gauge on the dash doesn't even budge. Max I've seen in 109. I do have a factory external cooler.

Everything under the hood is stock, when im in the desert i do the following:
-turn on 4H
-turn on sport mode
-turn off ESC traction control
-allways in 1st or 2nd gear going full throttle in 1st gear going up steep and deep sand dunes,
This is my 1st truck im used to my 2004 land cruiser.

I'm not sure on the F150, but some vehicles have a warning when the temp is considered too high. That does seem high, but not dangerous considering where you were.

My 2011 sits right at 190-200F under normal driving. I have seen it as high as 205F during a hot summer day.

190-200 here as well, with the factory cooler trans cooler. You need a auxiliary trans cooler. Temps of 230 are breaking down the trans fluid, and you will need more frequent trans fluid changes. Heat is what kills trans fluid, and then tranny's. B&M makes a great temp controlled fan-assisted cooler

You are running the guts out of it in 4H in sand with the outside temp hot enough to fry an egg. You are probably going to cook alot more than the transmission my friend.

Forgive my ignorance, Where can I find a digital readout of the transmission temperature?
