Default Transmission question

After going from reverse to drive, there is a slight hesitation when I push on the accelerator - like it is still waiting to complete the shift. Anyone else experience this? I have never experienced this on any other car. I have a 3.5L EB with 2700 miles on it.

Mine seems to be fine. At least nothing noticeable.

I believe what you are experiencing is ever so slight turbo lag, my 2011 3.5 Eco had a slight lag like you are describing.

I thought about that but I don't think the turbo is an issue unless I was flooring it. I have a Passat that is a turbo and have not felt this type of hesitation.

Has your truck ever had the reflash performed for harsh shifting? This issue was also addressed in the reflash.

I have a bit of a delay when putting it into drive or reverse as well. I haven't had the 5-4 downshift TSB done yet though to confirm/deny if that fixes it.
