I stopped on red at the traffic lights, and when it was green the truck refused to move while still on Drive Gear. The transmission was just unresponsive, it didnt move on 1, 2 3 and Reverse gears. I had to tow the truck home. What could be the cause of this?

 

Tranny went south on you. Warranty I assume

 

Was it making any sounds before it stopped working? What year f150 do you have?

 

So...I'm betting they find that you blew a transmission line and lost all your fluid or your pump is shot. One of the two.

 

 

 

2017 what engine? The 3.5 EB had the 10 speed and the rest had the 6 speed. Also, did the power train fault light (wrench light) come on?

 

It's a 3.5L 4WD. 6 Cylinder.
No warning lights came on.
