Default Trailer light issues

Sup guys - Have a 2016 XLT with the 302A package and backup assist. The first time I used my trailer, I set up the backup assist (placing sticker on trailer and calibrating with measurements) Fast forward two years later, when I hook up my trailer, all I get is park light, no stop or turn signals) I thought it was my lights on the trailer but after hooking it up to my wifes SUV , all the lights function as they should. I'm at a loss of what the issue could be. Any helps and advice is greatly appreciated! TIA!

First thing to do is check the fuses.

I've checked all the fuses that are associated with the trailer brakes. All good.
Engine Bay Compartment:
#34 - Trailer Parl Lamps
#35 - Trailer Stop - Turn relay fuse
#36 - Trailer Lamp Module
#87 - Trailer Backup Lamps

Passenger Foot Well Fuse Box - #14 - Brake

One thing I did notice, when I push in the button for the Back Up assist to turn it on, I get no light on the **** indicating it is on. Looked in the manual to se of there was a fuse specifically for that and didn't see anything obvious

clean the electrical contacts on the trailer plug with electrical spray cleaner. then put dielectric grease (parts store) and try again.

Get one of these 4 pin/7 pin testers. It can help trace down where the problem is.

I don't have that but I do have a 7 pin to 4 pin converter. No matter if I use the 7 pin or 4 pin, I don't get signal, I'll be using a volt meter to troubleshoot. Turn signals are working on the truck but no signal to any of the trailer plugs. And like I said previously, I have the back up assist and I don't get any power indicating it is on when I push the button. Can't seem to find the correlating fuse to that.

There is also a plug on the immediate backside of the trailer connector, perhaps that's loose.

Try swapping relay? It's not labeled right in the manual i believe the relay maybe part of the brake control module as my 18 if I unplug power to disable my auto start/stop it kills brakes and turns to the trailer also check fuse 49..

Just checked all of the fuses and none of them are blown. Go figure... Now what?
