Default Trailer disconnected light

My Trailer disconnected lite comes on, when my trailer is connected. I have unplugged trailer lites from truck and reinserted. Warning still comes on.

Is this a simple fix? How necessary is it?

Nope 15 plus. Still a little more info 4 pin or 7 pin trailer brakes or not. Have they worked and just stopped. Does the truck say trailer connected and what does it say when you do light check. Did you program the trailer to truck.

Default Trailer disconnected lite

Sorry again. New to forums.
7 pin, I did program the trailer in my truck several months ago. I did just have some work done on it. Could that info possibly been wiped out when they did work? I do have working trailer brakes. I did not see the trailer connected come on. I also quiwas looking quickly thru the commands today before my way home and could not find the spot to reset a trailer to this truck .

I just checked and my trailer name is still listed on my dash controls. My trailer is not easily available right now to try connecting. I'll have to try at a later date.

Thank you for your help.
