Default trading in 2015.

so im highly thinking about trading in my 2015 XLT. Of course if i can get a good deal. So i have upgraded the radio to 8" MFT and swapped the gauge cluster along with 20" fuel wheels and 285/65/20 bfg k02. I have already pulled the gauge cluster and put the stock back in. (only drove 15 miles on new cluster). I will also be taking the wheels and tires but the main question is with the radio. Would i get a better trade in value with the 8" MFT over the 4.2"? should i leave the radio and sell it and throw the 4.2 back in? Any feedback would be appreciated. I wont be leaving the f150 family. i will be trading up to a lariat.

Most likely... it wont make a difference. I'd pull it out and sell it on the forums.

Wont matter, take out the 8". Put the 4.2, back in! Dealers, wont give more for Mods, return it to factory condition!

PM sent on the gauge cluster if you're looking to sell it.

This. And xlt is a run of the mill trim no matter how many nods. Remove mods and get same value. If folks want more amenities theyd buy a higher trim or spend less and personalize them selves..

Agree with the rest. Any mods spent is money lost when trading in. Put it back to stock.

Understood. Just imagined the 8" MFT isn't exactly looked at as a mod by the dealer so didn't know if that option added more for the trade in value over the cost I spent on it.

You'll actually get less money for it because dealers & future customers don't want modded cars & theres the thinking that you may have messed things up. Take it out & sell it for money

Let me know about the gauge cluster, if the first offer falls through.
Thanks.
