On my '16 F-150 I have yet to see the traction control light flash when active. I can get the truck to the point of a slight fish tail under heavy acceleration, with the right rear spinning away.

I cycled all the modes on / off etc. Still no change. I have driven other vehicles where the light will flash when active. I'm thinking there is an issue.

Anyone have a similar issue? I searched the forums with no luck.

Did you try the double-press for sport mode TC, or holding it to completely disable it?

 

Yep. I cycled through all modes. Appearance wise, it should be functioning. Other than not getting the light to flash while breaking traction under heavy acceleration.

 

I've had mine flash rapidly when accelerating(enough to "squeal") and turning out of an intersection. And while accelerating from a stop on wet pavement or loose gravel.

I'm not sure if it always flashes when active.

 

I have also fish-tailed when roads are wet and never felt traction control kick in or any lights flash.
