CanadaGuy...Having worked for Ford Dealerships for years in the U.S. I can tell you that to contact a Ford Rep you'll need to work through a dealer. If the dealer you are having a problem with won't assist you contact another one, not sure how many are near you but that's your best bet. The Ford phone number, not sure if it works in Canada, is 800-392-3673. You can contact that number as well and they may contact the rep in your area. Without having a complaint about a currently owned vehicle they probably can't open "Cuddle" (their dealer complaint system). Good luck

Default Correlation of COTUS Delivered with Actual Dealer Delivery

My truck is showing an ETA of this Friday (4/24). I have tried to get the visibility report details from my salesman but he keeps telling me only what COTUS is already showing me online. I asked yesterday if they received any heads-up on arriving shipments, and he said no the trucks/cars just show up. Unfortunately, the dealership is not close by or I would just drive by like others have done here.

This leads to my question for those of you who have your trucks and followed them closely. Did COTUS going to "delivered" correlate very closely with your truck arriving at your dealership?

I'm curious as well! Mine was due in yesterday, 4/21. Never got a call. Now my delivery date has dissapeared from cotus. This is gonna be worse than having the "countdown" of days. Now I suppose I'll have no damn idea till it shows up. Maybe a day, or a week, or a month??

I ordered my truck on 1/27/15. The original ETA when it first posted was 4/17 which later changed to 4/20 and then 4/15. It disappeared on 4/15 but my truck arrived at the dealership on 4/16. The delivered date shows 4/15 so it may have actually been there the day before but vehicles are dropped off on a different lot than the sales lot where I purchased.

So it actually delivered a day BEFORE the original ETA and a day AFTER the last ETA posted on COTUS.

With the possible exception of 1 or 2 people, when COTUS shows "Delivered" the trucks are at the dealership.

I have been following some other trucks going to dealers near mine to get a sense of transit time and see that COTUS is actually get to zero on the day before the delivery date. And then on the actual delivery date the ETA and days remaining disappear. I have seen some do this and then a day or so later post an actual delivery date prior to the ETA that disappeared.

Mine went to "delivered" status in COTUS within 4-5 hours of the truck rolling off the car carrier at the dealers lot.

My ETA date showed up again, and it's 1 day earlier than the original date I was given.

COTUS was spot on with my delivery. My truck did arrive when COTUS changed to delivered.
