Thanks for all your help on this thread Roadpilot. With my build date at 4/13 at Dearborn and a blend at 7060 is it safe to assume a build day of mine will be sometime tuesday? This is assuming 1200/day still. Thanks again

That's frustrating. I wouldn't think it would take this long to fill a truck. I checked several dealer orders with ETA's that have been missed. Theirs must be sitting up there as well.

Yup, supposedly delivered 4 days ago but isn't actually at my dealer.
Well as it turns out my truck was indeed delivered April 3rd. However my salesman (who is also the sales manager) just got back today from holidays and finally notified me it was in. I don't know why no one else at the dealership knew about it.

I guess one needs to take into account the scheduled holidays for your salesman when anticipating a factory order delivery.

At this rate you have your truck before I get mine.

You most certainly can find better rates elsewhere (e.g., at credit unions), but keep an eye on any incentives they offer for financing through Ford Motor Credit. Often, you can get anywhere from $500 to $1,000 just for financing through FMC. Then all you do is immediately refinance through your credit union (or wherever you normally would have gone to begin with).

There's absolutely no valid excuse for giving away $500 to $1,000 when all it involves is an extra app, an extra inquiry and a few signatures.

Plus my dealer sent Ford the invoice last week for my new truck so they could create the worksheet.
It may very well be the issue of they can't do anything until title (FOB/ownership, not actual vehicle title) transfers to the buyer (the dealership).

My goal was to have all of my financing complete and check in hand so 14 days from now when my truck arrived I could just go pick it up, now I have to wait until it arrives, wait until a worksheet is created, wait until my dealer works up the numbers and paperwork, wait until my bank goes through all this stuff and cuts the check, wait until the dealer preps the truck, ETC…
I was able to get my credit union to process the loan and cut me a check without anything other than the finance disclosure. Meaning, we did NOT have a purchase agreement, because a dealership can't give you a purchase agreement for a vehicle that they technically do not OWN yet. But I've been with my same credit union for like 13-14 years, so I'm sometimes able to get them to 'bend the rules' for me.

I closed on my loan and had a check for the difference (total price - trade in equity) almost an entire week before the truck actually arrived. It was actually insured the entire time as well ...

Its bad enough I have been fugging around for over 2.5 years with Ford trying to get this truck replaced, and now when I can finally see the finish line in this whole process they are now jerking me around again….
In the words of Aaron Rodgers: "R-E-L-A-X", my friend. It should all be over soon.

And the best part is I have to pick up my boat 27’ boat from storage on May 9th, truck will be lucky to have 200 miles on it by then and you’re not supposed to tow for the first 1000 miles… And what do you bet while my new truck sits on the dealer lot for 2+ weeks after it arrives here that it gets dented or scratched somehow, I'm not a happy camper now....[/QUOTE]

MON PM shift or TUE AM shift. I'd guess MON. They seem to be running fairly efficiently over there lately, so they're cranking them out faster than what's been the norm lately.
