Yea the ram is clinging hard to the "we have the higher mpg number" but also at the highest cost. Article did good hitting them there on that one.

Ordered my Platinum last week. How do you guys find out all this info? Where do I look to find out what is going on with my build? Thanks.

Congrats! If your have your order confirmation from your dealer, it has an order number on it and a dealer number. With this, Ford Service (after a few weeks) should be able to get you a VIN and maybe a build date. There is more information in this post about other tracking sites too like etis. Ford. Com Feel free to add your info to the tracking spreadsheet.

Again, congrats!!!! and settle in for a bit of a wait, many of us ordered in early August.

You can send a PM to Ford Service on here or through Twitter with your dealer name and/or number ('F' followed by five numbers) and the four digit order number. Early on, it was taking about four weeks to get a VIN, but it might be quicker now. Shortly after that, you should get a scheduled build date.

I ordered mine the first week of August. Is it possible to still not have a VIN? It is a 2.7 and I see from the spreadsheet that no one else with a 2.7 is on there.

Yes, it is possible based on what we have seen with a couple other members here. Have you contacted Ford Service?

I did but it was late yesterday, they were probably gone. Also my dealer only gave me my order summary and it doesn't look like it has an order number on it. I was hoping Ford Service can look it up by dealership since it's a smaller one and I doubt they ordered that many 2015s.
