Tracking Thread!! VIN's with Build Dates
Thanks a million in advance.
Your VIN of 35729 means there is no way it will be built in November. Mine is 10533 and is the exact same truck as yours and it is 11/17 "week". I dont think they will have production ramped up that fast to get you built in November. You would have 13 days left in November not counting the Thanksgiving Holiday to get 25,000 trucks built.

Unlikely they will be at that level of production right off the bat for the 2015 model, but even if it's half, that's 4200 trucks a week.

AND
"The ETA to your dealership has been tentatively set as December 3rd, subject to change. Reach out to me next week and I'll check on any new info."
Like I said my fingers are crossed and we will see what happens.
Thanks again Crystal for the information!
I have no idea I am just passing on what Crystal told me which was late November build

Good point linnwgetwin. For those interested, Dearborn made 1200 trucks/day (8400/week) for the 2014 model year running 3 shifts.

Great point - my gut is that by 10/27 (Job 1) they will be running at about 2/3rd capacity - so that would be about 800 trucks per day or 4,000 trucks per week. this puts my 84XX VIN around the early-mid November time frame which matches what Ford Service told me. We can only hope for an on Schedule Job #1 and no quality issues.

I agree with everyone that the wait sucks and may continue. I am cautiously optimistic with this as (after all) this is the F-150 and it has been in the works for 5 years but I also am not naïve.
Anyway - good luck to us all for a Merry Christmas. My backside will enjoy the massaging seats on the way to the inlaws!
I'm not sure I understand the "G" in you VIN. If this is position 10, that indicates a Chicago plant. Are you sure that's not an "F" ?
I don't know if it goes A00001 to A99999, then B00001 to B99999 and so on.....but doubt it.
For all you Canadian guys/gals who ordered an F150 in Canada, you have to contact https://www.f150forum.com/members/fordserviceca-150023/ instead of Crystal. She can only track American orders.
