Tracking Thread!! VIN's with Build Dates

My order has been in for nearly 30 days and nothing yet, but hopefully the VIN will be issued on Thursday. Keep in mind, when Ford issues the "OK to Buy" order for F150 production, the priority 10-19 will move ahead of our priority 20 orders. Hopefully, all of ours will be scheduled by then.

I know you are getting tired of hearing that fact, but it's a reality.
Only one guy with a Priority 10 order on this forum has been given a start date and a VIN number and the other 99% that placed their orders early on using Priority 20 have their build dates and VIN numbers.
I guess it's just a wild coincidence that the Priority 20's are getting to the gate before the others.
I want a start date and after that I don't give a rats ***** what code they give me.

You're absolutely right and I should have been more clear. The priority 10-19 will move ahead of the unscheduled 'VINless' priority 20 orders after the 'OK to buy' is achieved. If you're already scheduled, you should be fine, assuming that Ford is pleased with the quality and will allow them to be shipped.

According to some forum members it does not matter what Priority numbers are assigned, but I find it ironic that the guys that ordered from dealers that were on the ball and ordered the trucks Priority 20 are magically getting build dates and VIN numbers. I guess it's my imagination that my Dealer talked to their Ford Rep after I got on their and suddenly they changed the original order to a Priority 20 order and made a second Priority 10 order to cover their .
All of that hype about what happens after you get a build date and VIN number don't mean squat until your build date and VIN number gets assigned to your truck. If I were you I would have a serious talk with your dealer before continue down the road and suddenly find out your truck is not going to appear until February.
