Default TPMS Disable please??

In the last several months all four of my TPMS sensors have gone out in my 2016 5.0. At 175K I don't care to spend the ~$100/per tire plus sensors to replace them. In my googling I haven't been able to find a way to totally disable the TPMS system to clear the warnings/dash light.
Anybody have any tips??

Thanks in advance!

You could do what I do and ignore the little orange light. When it pops up, simply hit "OK" on the steering wheel controls and drive on.

I install a set of 4 studded snows on dedicated 17" steelies every winter, and they have never had TPMS units installed.

Nothing bad happens, and when next spring rolls around and I switch back, the truck picks up the sensor signals automatically.

Drive on until you're ready for new tires and consider having new units at that time. Until then, don't be lazy and keep a check on your pressures.

Yeah that's what I've been doing for the last year. I'm not concerned about any long-term effects, I just hate having warning lights on my dash.
The one shop I asked said they still charge the $100/tire labor to install the sensors even when installing new tires but I'll ask around. That seems asinine.

That is asinine. Don't use that shop. In the past, when I've had a sensor fail, I get it replaced the next time I get my tires replaced for a few bucks. Dismounting the tire and replacing the valve stem are already included in the labor for replacing the tire, so the only additional cost should be just the part cost for the sensor (usually something like $30).

That's what I thought. I only asked them because I was picking up a u-haul from them.
We just got a pretty good dump of snow and I realized my tires may not make it another season so I'll call around.

I buy my sensors on ebay for $35 or less per set of 4. Take them to the tire shop when getting new tires and they put them in for free. I currently have 4 sets purchased on ebay, with the oldest at 9.5 years and counting. One tire shop, Sam's Club, and one dealership have installed them for free at tire purchase/install time.

My front driver side sensor failed. I bought a replacement on fleBay and my local tire shop put it in and tried programming it. Wouldn't work. fleBay seller refunded my money. The tire shop threw on one of their sensors. Don't remember the brand but is been fine since. No issues. They charged me for the sensor and didn't charge me to install the one I brought in or to replace it with their sensor. They are my go to and also always hand torque my wheels. I've been going to them for many millenia and will continue to use them. The discount tire on the other side of town sucks and wanted to charge like 300 bucks more for the same tires that this shop installed on my Tundra several years ago.

Default Not at Costco

Prior to a tire replacement at Costco, name brand sensors were purchased at Rock Auto, with the install at tire change thought. At least local Costco will only install dealer sold, Ford branded when accompanied with the receipt, or the Costco supplied units. Likely due to the issues created when cheap aftermarkets do not work. Since breaking the bead and holding the tire down can be very difficult for home replacement, a Harbor Freight manual changer was purchased, sensors changed, new balanced tires the following scheduled day. With about 50 pneumatic tires to keep up with, good purchase, about paid for the first use. Thinking Costco, check their policy.
