Default TPM System

about to go and have a screw removed from tire, if it penetrated (which I assume it has since that tire is a good 10 to 15 lbs below normal), is there anything specific I should mention to the yahoos at the shop? (national tire, not ford)

Depends on how they repair the tire: plug, patch or patch plug. The second two require removal of the tire from the wheel. I'm not sure about the 2015's and what style of tpms sensor they use. I have heard stories of many a tire tech knocking the sensor off and breaking it while dismounting the tire. I know some style tpms sensors are in the valve stem and are not really effected by mounting or dismounting the tire.
Good luck

Don't break the bead anywhere near the valve stem. Start dismounting right after the valve stem for both beads.

This is pretty standard stuff. Ford has used the valve stem mounted sensors for 5 years now, so tire shops should be used to it.

If they need to relearn the tpms, it's press the brake 5 time and push the hazards 4 times, then use the tpms tool on each wheel.
