Default Tow Mirrors

Those who have Tow Mirrors, does your mirrors shake at highway speeds? My driver side does slightly, my passenger side is very noticeable. Also when I shut my doors I can hear them rattle. I brought my truck in to the dealership for this and after having it over night they told me that Ford is aware of the problem but there is currently no fix to this.

I just wanted to hear from other with tow mirrors.

Mine rattle when you close either door. Don't much like it, but do like the tow mirrors. Mine don't shake. Sounds like tire balance issues perhaps.

Loose Mirror

If your power-folding mirrors are manually
folded, they may not work properly even
after you re-position them. You need to
reset them if:
• The mirrors vibrate when you drive.
• The mirrors feel loose.
• The mirrors do not stay in the folded or
unfolded position.
• One of the mirrors is not in its normal
driving position.
To reset the power-fold feature, use the
power-folding mirror control to fold and
unfold the mirrors. You may hear a loud
noise as you reset the power-folding
mirrors. This sound is normal. Repeat this
process as needed each time the mirrors
are manually folded.

I don't have any shaking or loose issues with my tow mirrors. Mine are manual fold/tele , but all the other bells, whistles, and lights.

my is the exact same as yours. Dealer said they couldn't hear anything or see anything. I said and you speak nothing (but lies). Good to hear there isn't a fix. After re-reading the manual pg 94 states they can be reset. On next oil change I'll be bringing this to there attention.

Let me clarify, it's the glass not the whole mirror that shakea, also I have manual mirrors. Sounds like I'm getting the run around from the dealership.
