Default Tow mirror width

Can someone measure how far the tow mirrors stick out from the door? I'm thinking about ordering them for my new truck but wan to be able to back in my garage without folding them in.

Thanks.

Measured from the glass in the door to the furthest out point on the mirror - 17.5" - you need an 11' wide door...

Is that with the mirrors in the fully retracted position?

I have regular mirrors now and I measured about 13''. Only have a 9ft door

My power fold mirrors measure 6 3/4" between the glass and the bottom. I can fit it in my garage. 8' wide door.

Is that with tow mirrors folded in?

I guess I wouldn't be able to fit in my 9ft door with out folding tow mirrors in? Not that it's a big deal to fold in, but I'd prefer to not have too

My mistake, yes folded in. unfolded but retracted my approximate overall is about 2" less than 9'.

Yes, fully retracted but not folded in. I have 9' doors and I have to fold the mirrors in to get the truck in the garage.

Before I switched to the power fold tow mirrors, I could get mine in the garage by manually folding in the drivers regular mirror and I have an 8' door opening.
I did measure and add blue masking tape down the center of the garage floor as a guide I can view with the rear camera as I back in along with a strip as to when to stop.
