Unhappy total shutdown unexpected

Picked up my new 2015 yesterday after trading in the 2013. Lots of new electronics. After just over 20 miles I was driving and the whole vehicle shut down. Engine off and could not restart. Ford sales manager looked at it and could not restart either. Has this happened to anyone else? Any ideas on reason? Had it towed to the dealership to check out tomorrow. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks Pete

I had a 2015 Expedition do the same thing, It was the wiring harness in the engine compartment.

My 2013 did that same thing. I had it towed to the dealer. Turned out to be a blown fuse in the fuse box under the hood. I'd check there first.

I wonder if its because cars are becoming more like computers--- Computers experience most of their hardware problems in the first few days of use.
