I have 2017 F150 Lariat Crew cab and need a topper for a quick trip down to AZ. Looking for a used one in the local Mpls area but getting confused on sizes, not my bed size, but other trucks. Can toppers for Chev and Ram fit on Ford trucks? Any suggestions would be appreciated!

 

Rails are different width and lengths are just different enough, sometimes they are close, but just far enough off, they are brand and model specific.

 

Check with your local shops that sell these things.

They have have a 'used' section (I don't know if that is a thing), or they may recommend a place you can look at used ones. If you do source a location, maybe they can help you set it in place. Considering this is a temporaty thing, fit may not be critical, as long as you can clamp it in place securely. If it looks ugly or unmatched to the body line, it doesn't seem like that is an immediate concern.

IF you can find something like that though, make sure you get the specifics of what you bought so you can provide the new buyer with the information they need to fit their truck.
The most difficult part could be the bed length.

For Sale, bed topper.... and you include a picture of your Ford. Not the best way to advertise a topper suited for a 2012 RAM. ha
