Default Tires

2918 F150 XLT SuperCrew 4 x 4

Currently have the original tires.
Goodyear Wrangler 275/65 R18
with 48k.
Without lifting or any other mods, can I go with a slightly larger and more aggressive tire?

what size would you recommend?
thanks

275/70/18 is an affordable 33” that will fit without a level. Had them on my ‘07

What will a larger tire do for you?
What do you expect a larger tire to do?

They won't help MPG's but will look better than the stock tires that look too small on these trucks.

This is a 275/70/18 Cooper at3 xlt but it does have a 1.5 " level.
I have heard this size will fit without a level as others have said. They have knocked the mpgs about 1mpg. They also ride a little rougher because of the Load range E rating most tires in this size are rated E. I belive general tire offers a 275/70/18 that is p rated.

If you change size, do you need to change the spare also?

@F175 I have thought about that there is about an inch of difference between the stock size and these. I have not changed the spare size yet.

You could go with 275/70/18 if you’re going to stay with your stock rim, it would be taller and fill out the wheel well
