I've heard great things about Nitto Ridge Grapplers. I think the biggest problem is any meaty tire in 22" is going to be E or F rated which will really stiffen the ride with the low sidewall. Personally I would love to find some 35x12.5x20 meaty tires that are C rated but I don't think they exist.

 

I've got two friends running the Ridge Grapplers and they love them. I was planning on it until I got the deal on my tires.
