Default Tire rub

Good evening. I have a completely stock 2017 FX4 that I just noticed the front drivers side tire has rubbed the paint off of my frame from the drivers side front tire. Looks like it may lightly hit the frame during a hard u turn turning left as the frame just behind where the wheel is now is shinny. Anyone else have this?
Planning a shop run next week if needed.

Thanks for any input..

I noticed this on my frame, too. I recently switched to 34" tires and +0 offset wheels, so I'm rubbing lots of places now...

I'm not sure if the rubbing on the frame happened before my switch or not.

Please let us know what you find out. Before I sell my stock wheels I could put them back on and check it out, then head to the dealer if needed.

Will do, I still have stock tires and only see this on the drivers side. Hopefully will have time Monday to have it looked at.

I had a bare spot on my frame in the same place on delivery, had the dealer paint it before I drove it home. I thought it was a QC issue from Ford but the tiedown wear makes sense!

Thanks, maybe I will put some paint on the spot first and see if it comes back. I wondered about the tie down but the spot lines up perfect with the wheel. Thanks for all the info.

275/65/20s (34s) don't rub with stock wheels. I am running them on my 17 with no lift/level.

I put some painters tape over the spot and drove it today with no rub, I am guessing that it was as NS redneck said, tie down rub. I will leave the tape on next week a see if anything further happens.
