Let me get this straight, you had a 2016 and decided you wanted a 2018? And your wife let you get away with that? Or are you one of those dang bachelors who does whatever he pleases? :-)
Anyway. Thanks for the info. BTW, I like your wheels better than the ones I got with my XLT of the same color. I got the Chrome package, which doesn't suit me. I prefer black instead of chrome.
I definitely have to do something. I'm burning up in the clear front glass now. And it's not going to get any better.

Did 20% ceramic on my fronts, they match the rear pretty good. Got a good friend that has been tinting all his adult life (mid forties now) and he cut me a great deal. None on my windshield (legalities) but I have heard the ceramic 80 is almost clear but rejects uv very well.
My 18 with 20%
My previous 16 with 20% ceramic.
My 18 with 20%
My previous 16 with 20% ceramic.

F150s are a little more expensive because of the drop-down on the front side windows and the three piece rear glass (especially with the slider).
You can search for installers here. You want someone who is Crystalline Certified:
https://get.3mskins.com/home/open/#/...publicsearchwf
Ping other certified dealers in your area and see what they have to say on price. I think it's a little high, but it all depends on location.

Crystalline is not cheap. I paid about $700 from a very well regarded facility here in DFW to do the windshield and all four side windows. My back window was tinted by the dealership (didn't ask, they thought they were "being nice") but I have a large commercial topper on the back, so I left the cheap tint back there since it doesn't see much sun at all.

Mine was about $900 for crystalline all around, windshield and two panel sun/moon roof.
If I had to do it again I'd go 10% front windows. I'm happy with 70% front and 40% on the dyed glass in the back and rear. Easy to see out and upon testing dash temps, one with no tint on front windows and windshield 180-degrees, my truck 140-degrees.Tested with Fluke 62Max+ IR temp gun

Not accurate - with regards to darkness you can have 28% on the two front windows on cars, trucks, suv, etc. Rear passenger and back window for cars is 15%. Trucks, SUV's rear windows and back glass is 6%.
Now with reflection....it's the same across the board for all vehicles: Front is 25% and rear is 35%.
Windshield - illegal but many people have done it - some film doesn't even look like it's on there but it really does a good job of blocking the heat.

Most places also will not install the darker in the front. keeps them out of trouble also.
