Default Time for shocks and need help

So, just upgraded my stock wheel and tires (2015 2.7 Sport) with Raptor take offs and P285/70/17 Falken At3W tires, and now its time for a slight lift and new shocks. I am looking for 1.25-1.5" lift MAX as I want some rake for towing my 4 wheelers and dirt bikes.

Mild off road is all I ever see, mainly to access back country trails in Colorado.

Options are Blistein 5100's all round (least expensive), or the 6112's up front 5160 rear. I have read that the 5100's are harsh? Would the 6112's provide a better ride, ie more plush on road?

Final option, drop big $$ for Fox 2.0. Likely over kill for my level of off road driving, but could be worth it to keep a "nice road ride"

What do you guys think?

Oh, looks like Eibach Pro Truck are an option similar to the 5100's. Not sure how they compare?

Ive ran a lot of different shock strut combos on my 17’. The eibach pro truck kit rides terrible. The bilstein are a slight improvement over stock. I wish I would have just bought the Fox from the start so that’s what I’m recommending to you. Guys rant and rave about them but I have not used them personally.

Got any pics. I'm thinking about doing the exact same thing to my truck.

I have 6112s up front and 5100s out back. I'm happy with my choice. I have them set at 2 inches and I have .6 inches of rake. If you set them lower to keep your rake higher than that I'd imagine you'd have an even better ride than me.

Only a slight improvement? How high did you have the Bilsteins set? Did you find them "harsh". Thanks for your feedback!

So I take it that you like the ride? With less preload I would indeed have a better ride. I am likely the look of the 6112 shocks.

The fronts are set on the first setting, something like .7 inches of lift. It’s not that they are harsh, they’re just not much different than stock.

Thanks, that is good to know. I like the idea of the Fox 2.0 shocks, but the price of the 5100's sure is interesting. Of course the main reason I am changing shocks is to create a little lift, and improve performance. If the 5100's are much like stock, maybe I am better off paying a little more now. 6112 seem like a good middle ground, they look like they would do well, and reports are positive.
