Nope you buy in Canada you're stuck with the inferior product. It's sad really that there is no way to hold the manufacturer accountable in Canada. I mean I could try to get Ford to buy it back but that's near impossible.

We are on our second throttle body replacement. First one was covered on warranty. Second one at 33,000 miles was NOT. Vehicle was inspected at 29,000 miles and throttle body specifically mentioned as checked out ok. Paid $300. for that inspection. Now second replacement cost $360.00 to replace at Dealer. We called FORD 4 times, wrote a letter, have been shuffled over to several different departments with no call backs and no resolution. Seems to me if this is a known problem FoMoCo has a responsibility to replace up to the 50k miles warranty. Honestly, up to this point we have spent $1000s of dollars out of our own pocket on this truck and will no doubt get rid of it before we are out of pocket again. For the low mileage too many issues/ failures, that have all popped up after the warranty time. BTW its a 2015 F150 gas.

Have you had any after market parts? I had a pedal commander that ended up being the issue. I got it replaced under warranty and it’s been fine.

Default Any ideas

2015 eco boost

I am have in the same alerts pop up in the cluster. “Hill descent control” “hill start assist” and “service advancetrac” with the abs and traction lights popping on too. Then when I reserve I get a “park aid” error. I thought maybe I was getting a bad reading on a wheel sensor; I bought the truck CPO and the front rotors were in pretty bad shape and all grooved up. I replaced the front rotors and pads all the way around and all the alerts stopped ... for about a week and now they’re all back. Any ideas?

[QUOTE=Coronet;5148775]Over the weekend I was having some problems with my truck. It would setake off the service light and go into limp mode. First time it happened I limped it to a locate dealer, but their service dept was closed. I got back in the truck and when I started it, the light was gone and the truck was fine. The next day I had to go to the gf, an hour and a half drive away. On my way the truck did the same thing, and again when I shut it off and restarted it it was back to normal. And being Sunday none of the dealers were open. I got the truck back home and took my old trusty Chevy for the rest of the day. The next day I took the truck to my local dealer to have it looked at. They scanned the truck and asked if I had a programmer on it, I don't. They said there were a few codes popping up all related to the throttle body. The dealer told me that they have replaced at least 20 in the last few months, so they replaced it. And the truck is fine now. The thing is a friend had this exact same problem with his dad's Escalade when they were traveling out east. It has me wondering if GM and Ford get their throttle bodis from the same supplier and if that supplier is have QC problems. Has anyone else had an issue with their trucks and I turned out to be the throttle body. GM has a TSB out on the issue and I was wondering if Ford should/does too.[i have a throddle body for sale if anyone is interested

Hello all - this is a great thread I had the same symptoms as everyone else, lucky for me my '15 3.5 EcoBoost died in my driveway! Anyway, got an OE throttle body and put it in and she runs like a top. My question to anyone who has had this problem are you running a catch can? What I have heard is oil from the blow-by gets into the sensor, took my old one apart and that was the issue. I was not using a catch can, I put one in over the weekend.
