I have a 2015 5.0 and had to have my throttle body replaced a few months ago at around 17K miles. My symptom was it would throw a wrench light and would not down shift going to a stop, would start in 3rd and quickly go to first back to third. Same thing when shut off and restarted it would be fine for sometimes minutes to days...finally had it happen on the highway probably 30 miles from my dealer so I limped it to them so they could see the problem. Really pissed me off that Ford doesn't keep any kind of code if it is shut off.

Well the problem is back. Looks like it's time for another Throttle Body. Unless the dealer digs a little deeper and finds the actual cause.

SMH

So after the second fix, which was a new pcm, the truck broke down again. This time it went nuts and just shut down. There is some sort of electrical gremlin. I don't have warm fuzziess about this.

After each fix the problem geta worse. Excuse my language, at this point I'm getting very frustrated with the truck. I was on my way to Niagara Falls for a weekend getaway with my GF, I really didn't want to deal with this crap.

Luckily I was not hit or had this happen on a curve I would been screwed.

If it is not fixed I am not comfortable driving this truck if they will not acknowledge this flaw. I am disappointed with the quality of this truck and I will give Ford the chance to fix it but if I keep having these problems I will have to lemon law this.
That Sucks. This is the first time I am hearing about the 15 2.7 having this issue. People on here report there issues all the time, and this is a new one to me.
I know 16 2.7 had some issues with certain build dates. And the issues people were having on this thread is not with the 15 2.7. Let us know what the dealer said. I would be interested to hear what they say. I also have a 15 2.7. If this is truly a Manufacturer Recall maybe someone can find it and let us know the specs on it..

Looks like a PCM issue. Replacement under warranty.

request they warranty replacement of the wiring harness. You may have an issue with the harness which controls the throttle body and/or the data used.

They are now replacing another part, I was too busy at work at the time to ask what. What I do know is there is less than 30k kms left until the warranty is up. Looks like I'll be buying the extended warranty soon. And than dumping the truck when that's up. I mean unless this new part fixes all the problems, but I'm not holding my breath.

No lemon law in Canada right? People have been getting the trucks replaced in the US when the dealer was unable to fix this
