Thinking about snagged a Platinum or KR towards the end of the year (baby on the way in Oct).

Question is should I look for left over 2016s since the 2017 will be out or just go used at this point?

I'm located in NC if there any good dealers around please let me know. I don't mind traveling a little ways outside of NC either.

 

You'll have to figure in the potential lost rebates when buying used over new, especially such a "new" used vehicle. If you were looking at something 3 or 4 years old that would be different. I often see 1 year old used trucks priced similarly to what you could get a new truck for less rebates, discounts, etc. However I know the rebates on Platinums and KRs aren't normally huge. The only difference between a 15 and 16 will be Sync 3 on the 16s. You'll have to decide if having Sync 2 is worth the posiible discount.

And as for waiting for 2017 or not....it depends. If you're wanting a 3.5EB, then I'd wait for 2017 for the Gen2 and 10-speed. I know people say to never buy the first year of something, but the DI and whatnot is already fleshed out in the 2.7EB so I'd be less afraid.
