Is there another way to unlock the tailgate besides the button on the latch or the button on the remote? I have a cap and worry about locking the remote in the bed. Not that I am stupid but, I put my remote in my golf bag when I play and when I finish I put my clubs in the bed. I have the keyless entry and can get into the cab. Was wondering if there is a switch or button in the cab for the tailgate.

Hitting the door unlock from inside the truck will unlock it.

 

If you use your keypad entry to access the cab, hitting the unlock will unlock the rest of the doors including the tailgate.

 

Also, if you put your code in and then press the '6', it will drop the tailgate.

If you have an automatic gate. Mine doesn't.

 

Yes u can go to the settings for key fob choose unlock all then when you use the key pad on the door it will unlock the tailgate when u use the keypad

 

After you type your keycode in on the door and it unlocks the drivers door, just hit the 3-4 button once after. It will unlock all the doors including the tailgate. To relock everything including the tailgate, just hit the 7-8 and 9-0 button at the same time.

 

You can change the settings to unlock only the drivers door when you put in the code, or unlock everything (including tailgate). I have mine set to everything.

 

If you hit the "3/4" button after your code it unlocks everything, so it's not fully necessary - it does save you a button press though

I made the 5th digit of my code the "1/2" button so it feels like a 4 digit code followed by the "1/2" button for drivers and "3/4" for all.
