Hello. I am missing on one side the tailgate rubber bumper. I tried doing a search but couldn't get a part number. There are some numbers on the piece but nothing came up. Part number would be great. Thanks. 2016 F150 short bed if it matters.

Hi. Did a part search. Nothing came up.

 

Went to fordparts.com. Did a search and nothing came up. Anyone else have any ideas.

Warranty repair at dealer... Must of been missing from factory..

 

Lost one of mine as well. Went to dealer and parts guy coy don't figure out part number either. Tech went and took one of a truck on the lot and handed it to me. He said they would worry about it later. I assume he meant when the next guy buys s truck and noticed it missing....

 

Same truck....saw the right one turned sideways about 40 degrees....peered inside at what looked to be a Philips screw head, but no, it just spins. They pop them in with cheapo little plastic "V"-springy things. I've been wondering if it would be better to use some sort of glue between the rubber and the truck wall, as opposed to a real screw that might pose problems(?).....any thoughts?

both of mine fell off at the same time. the quick clips that hold them was very loose. i put them back on and pushed the "screws" down and they hold tight now.
