Tailgate release problems

I've tried bumping in both directions while pushing the remote button and the button on the tailgate with no luck. I think this is maybe a relay or another electrical issue. The dealer is giving me the run around about be back logged with service issues.

When mine was hung up I could hear the solinoid trying. Good luck, post your fix

I've been having the same issue with my truck as well. It seems like it jams up and is unable to release especially when the truck is parked on unlevel ground. I phoned the dealership I purchased my truck from and addressed them the issue. All they told me is that they have had a few other people come forward with the same issue and that they were looking into to it, but they couldn't do anything to fix it for me for now. Kind of a **** off after just paying 70K for my truck and the tailgate of all things doesn't even work.

Anyone having problems getting their remote tailgate release to work? Mine won't release tailgate and now I can't get tailgate to open manually either. When this first happened found that right side wasn't latching completely so I would push it in till it clicked and then it would work. Now that doesn't even work. Help!
