Went to dealer and no defect was found. At least now I have it recorded in case something that result in serious injury or property damage. Ford does need to have something that tells you the tailgate is opening while driving.

Well guys... tailgate opened again! Not while driving I think ?... but I just don't know I think I was parked ... regardless I never carry a key fob with me and it's always in the truck so it is impossible for me to open up the tailgate without physically push the button on the tailgate, yet this is the second time the tailgate has opened up magically opened . I have 2 options... open up a show in Las Vegas with my mental radiofrequency powers or go back to Ford yet again and see if they can even try to figure it out? Both dead ends in my mind.

I see where you are saying you don't carry the fob... but I gotta say, that sounds like the culprit to me!!! Is it somewhere where it could be getting hit? Maybe the AC is blowing on it! Or someone looked at it! The #&$^ thing is terribly sensitive! I put one of those rubber sleeves on mine... it might have helped a little bit, but definitely didn't solve the problem. Terrible Terrible key fob design.
