Is there a kit or mod available to add ‘automatic or power tailgate close’ on my 2015 King Ranch?
where do i get it?
is it hard to install?

I think for that you would need to buy a 2021+ truck with power tailgate...

Why? The 2015-20 Limited had a power close function. All you would need are the extra parts and wiring, and I'm guessing in the KR the wiring might already be there since KR has the power latch.

Are you sure? I only see mention of tailgate lift assist up until 2020.

it’s not listed in the Sales Brochure, User Manual, or Service Manual.

so…what year was it first optioned?

In 2019 it was standard on Limiteds, and not available on any other trim. That was one of a few things that were only available on the Limited.
