Default Tail light emergency

Was trying to hardwire my Opt7 light bar and was running into issues. Trying to put the tail light back in was going smoothly. When I went to pull it back off I heard something tinking as it bounced it's way to the ground. Found 1 little piece but not dure where it goes or if I need to be looking for more parts. The emergency part is i have to go to work in 90 minutes si need to get this back together.

Firstly, no great sin in just popping the housing back in and putting in the two screws until you figure it out. You really won't hurt anything.

Secondly, that fitting probably goes in one of the holes for the plastic locating pins. Remove the other tail light carefully and investigate. To me, it looks like that clip is broken. You will probably have to hold it in place with a small dab of silicone when you figure it out.

I'd button everything up now and deal with it later.

Yes panic driven crappy pictures. I figured it out, nothing is broken and no LED light bar is worth the hassle.

I've removed my taillights so many times the clips are either broken or lmost broken and they still fit flush so nothing to worry about.

I had the same clip pop off. The only place it clips properly is in your 5th picture. IDK for sure that's where it goes but that's where i put it. It is kind of a shim to make the tail light sit more flush. I tried with it uninstalled then installed the tail light aligned better.
