Hi,
I have a 2020 Ford F150 and am having problems with the BMS (maybe). The following symptoms:
"System Off to save battery" comes on at various times: when going down the road and highway, when opening the door to get in, and after starting the engine.
"Front Camera Inop", I don't have a front camera!
Fried two batteries. Performed BMS rest set twice.
It has drained USB connections that had a Battery.
Apparently doesn't show the trouble code because I had it in the Ford dealership with no luck but just a high bill.
Don't get insulted but the way this has been gone about is totally wrong.
Why 2 Batteries without any diagnostics?
Batteries drained while being connected to a USB port if I understand you!
USB Ports are shut off after a short time when the vehicle is shut off.
Features your vehicle does not have ! etc.
No Codes, can't be!
If Dealer did not do any diagnostics, your issues will go on. Find another Dealer and let them know what you think might be going on, with a little force behind it.
.
Power to most all the rest of the vehicle comes from the Body Control Module (BCM).
I suspect a water leak getting on the BCM causing all the reactions. It's behind the passenger side kick Panel. Take a good look for those signs.
Someone has to get on the ball!
A full diagnostic system test has to show what's going on. It's a long print out that has to looked at to see the trouble area by someone who knows what they are looking at.
Good luck.
I had the same problem with my 2019 when new. charged battery and it was OK for aa few months. at 3 1/2 years the dash went black, wrench came on. drove it to the dealer and problem seemed to go away. dealer could find nothing wrong but sold me a new battery for $250... problem persisted. I read a thread on F150 and disconnected my BMS for 6 months. all was fine except the stop/start did not work. I plugged it in about a month ago and reset (pump brakes high beam thing) and seems fine. I will unplug the BMS in a heartbeat if it starts sc
rewing up again. Pic added
I have the same problem, BUT I only get the message when I'm getting in the truck. I think it's my battery as it's the original battery (2018). Even though I have a *** eliminator installed it doesn't work, when turned on. I'm sure at 6 years I need to replace the battery prior to this winter!!!

Those are both signs that you don't drive enough to keep the battery charged. Hook it up to a smart charger overnight and that message will probably go away. Your A.S.S. might even start working again.
I am having similar issues with my2019 F150 for the last few months.
The battery kept dying. Replaced it. Worked fine for about a month. Randomly dies. I could sit for one week and then be dead, or it sits less that 24 hours and it's dead. We brought to a mechanic. they let it sit for a few days at the shop, no issues with voltage draining ect. they 'reset the battery monitor'.
Brought 'er back home worked for about 2 weeks. And dead overnight. Charged it up, worked for a few days, dead.
Yesterday I parked it at 9:30 am and at 6:30 am this morning, all the dashboard lights came on, it said 0 miles to empty, battery light was on, the screen came on woth "System off to save battery" and it wouldn't turn over to start. My dad also had the new battery tested for drainage over 3 days and found nothing doing a parasitic draw.
I'm at a loss.
