Sync3 v1.0 with NAV - No GPS
So, this has happened maybe 5-6 times since I got the truck in September.
Little no-GPS symbol on the map, left side. Goes away after turning the truck off & letting it shut down.
Do the v2.0-2.2 upgrades improve GPS reception? Not sure what's causing it & it's intermittent.

Also been driving "off road" a couple of times, got a "Navigation Fault" error message once, and was unable to connect my phone via bluetooth once.
I'm on the fence whether I try V2.2 update or take to dealer.
Edit: I'm on V1.1 right now.

I had similar problems with my sync 3 v1.0 or v1.1 and Samsung Galaxy s5. The nav stop working.
I went to dealer few times (v1.0 to v1.1 update) and the only remedy is pair the phone after the nav had boot.
No problem since but i am waiting for v2.0 for android auto.

Hey everyone!
The No GPS symbol indicates that insufficient GPS-satellite signals are available for accurate map positioning. This icon may display under normal operation in an area with poor GPS access, such as parking garages or other covered areas. If this icon is displayed continuously, and you're not in a poor GPS-access area, this likely means an issue has occurred.
I know this seems like an odd question, but has anyone gotten new tires recently?

SSM 45917 - 2016-2017 Ford/Lincoln - SYNC 3 – Inaccurate Global Positioning System (GPS) Tracking Or GPS Vehicle Icon Spinning Or Spinning Compass - Engineering Investigating
Some 2016-2017 vehicles equipped with SYNC 3 may experience the following concerns; the GPS not tracking the vehicle position correctly, the vehicle location arrow icon spinning in circles on the navigation screen or a spinning compass on non-navigation vehicles. Perform the following procedure to resolve. Enter BezelDiagnostics per Work Shop Manual (WSM) Section 415-00. Select Testing Settings from the menu. Scroll down and press Clear DR calib. Perform a drive test for approximately 10 minutes, include at least four right turns and four left turns with a vehicle speed of at least 25 MPH. Confirm that GPS position for Navigation or the Compass for non-navigation vehicles is functioning properly. Engineering is aware of this concern
