Yes. I have navigation... Makes sense. Thanks! Kinda pissed me off because I had to run to WalMart and buy one.

I had to manually update mine. The wi fi update has not worked for me.

Mine, as well. Download to computer, copy to stick, plug stick into truck USB, wait, once it installs, plug stick, back into computer so Ford will verify update.

Mine won't update. I connect to wiFi or my hotspot and tell it to check for updates. Comes back with 02-2019 as the last update. WTF?

Not unusual for a 16-18 to not have wifi updating work all the time. Visit the sync update site and do it via USB.

My truck has never updated using wifi, I have to download and use usb stick.

Yesterday I updated to the latest Sync3 (21194 I think), can anyone tell me what the update fixes or changes or is there a site that lists changes.

2 of the biggest improvements is there are patches to fix Sirius XM after restart and Travel Link.

My 16 was the same way. My 2020 takes care of the updates.

Wow, just learned about this. Updated following directions on Cyanlabs. went from 3.0 to 3.4 sync and maps from 2015 to 2021 without issue(for free). just follow the directions on their website and all will be well

took exactly 26.1 minutes(stalled at around 20%, but that was the huge map update). Not happy with the blue background in 3.4, but I will see if I can change it in the morning

Gotta love a freebies that actually work!!
