My concern is I obtained the Cyan Labs file a few weeks before the official Ford release. The package of files is not the same between Cyan Labs and what I downloaded from Ford, but the largest file NU5T-14G381-AD.tar.gz has the same checksum from both sources. I don't know what all the extra files in the Ford release are for.

Would it be to clear memory first?

Originally updated via CyanLabs. Just checked Ford Site to see if I could download the update for USB. Says "You're up to date," and won't let me. So it's registering to their own version/files.
I have not had any problems with CyanLabs version though.

USB update version installed fine...all is working once again. Should be noted that the WIFI version (optional selection on the Ford website) was not functional in my case.

Does that mean WiFi wasn't available for you to select, or that you selected WiFi and it didn't work? I thought about letting WiFi handle it, but it's not much of a chore to me to download to a USB drive and insert it the next time I'm in the truck, plus WiFi updates can take a long time to complete (because your truck's WiFi is active just for short periods after you park and turn off the engine, not all the time).
