When updating my SYNC from version 3.3 to version 3.4 using the cyanlabs.net solution, after starting I kept getting the error, " . . . ." OR it would say "Starting Update . . . " and stay there and not progressing.
The SOLUTION is to make sure the USB stick is plugged into the FIRST USB slot and not the second (or other).
