2015 Ford F150 XLT with Sync, no navigation

my radio quit working two weeks ago, all other functions on my display work but any button related to radio or volume does not work. Originally it was displaying "entertainment off" but after pulling the fuse out and putting back in, the system displays "updating" but never updates. Already tried master reset, disconnecting the battery, lock/unlock, auto start.

I have never done any updates, but after this started happening and it was displaying "entertainment off" I performed a master reset. After the master reset, the system is now stuck on "updating".

 

.If you register on the ford site you can download the latest update. Follow the instructions on updating sync and see if the will fix the problem.

 

If your radio quit working two weeks ago, I would say it is a radio issue. Radio probably went bad if it doesn't come back to life.

 

Be aware the update site might not be working. Talked with Ford CS about not being able to update my wife's Ecosport and was told the site has been having issues for a while and while they are "working on it", the CS said they had no idea when it might be back up. Issues have been ongoing for better than 6 months.

 

I recently downloaded the latest update. Using an Edge browser caused issues. Chrome worked for me.
