This site is depressing
I know everyone means well but I hate to come here! I have a new 2018 F150 SCREW XLT and I love it. Only about 2,200 miles so far but this is a terrific truck. I'm only going to come back here if I have a problem and need an answer.

It is just filled with bad news, breakdowns and problems. I know that Ford has sold MILLIONS of these trucks but there seems to be little good news here. Don't get me wrong, I'm happy to know this site is here if I need it. I just don't like to come here and read about endless problems and complaints. I LOVE MY TRUCK!!!!

Starting a conversation just to say you're leaving is really bad form. Might want to work on that.
RE this forum: The behaviors are absolutely normal when you mix those who come here just to complain and those who are enthusiasts (aka fanboys). All in all it has a lot of good info and good people. If it was filled with people who only consider their truck a tool to get a job done it would have little traffic, so relax and don't let the door...

I have been here 5 years, and for the most part you get more people who complain, due to a real problem. Most of the truck buyers who have no problems, don't visit, until the do, and then come looking for answers.
As a comparison, I went to the Chevy, GMC, Dodge Forums. Even though they sell less trucks, they seem to have a lot more complaints. I had a few issues with my 2012 EB, but now it has 164K miles and runs fantastic. Currently I have a 2019 Limited with about 1900 miles, and so far, so good. Anyone can get a lemon, just take what you hear with a grain of salt, and believe you will have no problems.
I look at it this way. Fear and faith have something in common. They both ask us believe something will happen that we cannot see, or hasn't happened yet.
Just have faith that your truck will be one of many that will have no issues, and you will NOT have the problems you read about here. And if you do have problems, have faith, that the problem will be made whole, and you will end up better than before.
I know a lot of people who have a 2012 with a third of the miles I do. I bought my truck to enjoy, and enjoy it I have. It still looks new, with only two small scratches. I have turned it into a work truck, and now use my Limited as my main family truck. I will enjoy it too.
Don't be scared away, enjoy your truck, and enjoy the conversations here. If you don't like negative conversations, look at the many threads like hidden features, Tips & Tricks, Pictures threads, What did you do with your truck today, etc. I look forward to seeing you around!
