I downloaded and updated Sync last week and I never saw a file on the USB to send back to Ford. I also has auto updates over Wi-Fi turned of, is it supposed to send this to Ford or is there a way for me to fix this. I feel like I might not get the next update if it doesn't register.

 

Hmm, I did the same, and I plugged my usb drive into website and it worked. My wifi is turned off for now (I even deleted my connection, lol)

 

I have never sent any data back…but they all ways seem to know I updated…maybe from ford pass…

 

Yup, when I went to download a new version today it was there and updated me to the latest. I guess the truck eventually reports the version for me.

 

My flash drive never has the update file on it. Somehow the Ford Owner site always knows which version I'm on. Don't worry about it.
