Nope. it's as I remembered it. No subwoofer adjustments.

There is a "loudness" control, which turns up the volume with vehicle speed.

 

Perhaps I'm mixing up memories of other vehicles.

Looks like the only decision remaining is whether to risk updating maps. Kudos to Cyan Labs for the effort. They made it easy.

Sorry to hijack your thread. Good luck with the upgrade should you choose that path.

I thought the CyanLabs route was painless, and the upgrade does seem to have some minor features that would be useful.i don't have but minutes behind the wheel since.

If you have a B&O system have a look at the EQ settings before the upgrade and let us know.

 

I never did figure out which computer I downloaded it on so I went back to Ford's site and downloaded it again, pretty small update. Plugged my jump drive into the truck and let it download and done, easy peasy. I went to look for a map update and see they charge for that so I'll pass on that one unless someone has a way to get it for free.....I just use AA anyway when I am in need of directions.

 

The Cyan Labs update from 3.0 to 3.4 went so well I'm going to update my Nav using their software. There is no charge, but I'll likely forward a donation if I'm successful.

If you're on Sync v3.3 or earlier, and have a B&O audio system with a Subwoofer (Platinum, Lariat, King Ranch) can you look at your audio settings and see if there is a subwoofer only slider or radio button?

 

I have XLT which doesn't have that, let me know how the maps update goes, maybe I'll try it if you are successful.

 

I could not update the Sync 3.0 in my 2018 F150 King Ranch. Ford was not updating it. I went the Cyan labs route and updated it to Sync 3.4 and with the latest maps. Worked perfectly and loaded without a problem. If you go that route, follow the instructions carefully.

 

I used to build my own update files using Ford files, but they came from a Russian website. Quit doing that and went the CyanLabs route. It works great and is simple to build your update files.
