Sync update and is it needed?
I have a 2018. Ford Support web page shows I am at 3.0.20204.
They also show 3.0.23219 is available.
Any time I try to investigate this I get a 404 error. It seems to be caught in a loop showing me a version that is not available or doesn't exist. Similar info is available at the unit, but it doesn't allow a download.
Frustrating...

The link below I copied right from Ford, it's the zip download for 3.0.23219.

Weird, I just went checked Ford's site and it still works for me. It still thinks my 16 mustang GT is running 3.0.20204 (despite having updated in like May) and I was able to download 3.0.23219 again.

I went the CyanLabs route yesterday and updated to 3.4 on my 2018 Lariat. It went better than expected. I'm very impressed with the level of detail they offer.
My only issue with 3.4 so far is that the control for my subwoofer (B&O) has disappeared. I need to put a few miles on it, and try another master reset before I reach out to CyanLabs.
(Note that CyanLabs also offers Nav map updates now. Multiple birds with their stone.)
Hi, I have been out of town and have not had a chance to do it.....I downloaded the update onto one of my computers but forgot which one it is on now....I may get to it this week yet, I'll reply when I get the update done. Thanks
Pretty sure my Sync 3.4 with B&O doesn't have specific subwoofer controls, just balance, fade, and sort of a generic bass/treble equalizer. I'll look at lunchtime. My truck had 3.0 when I bought it and I don't think that showed any subwoofer controls either.
Mine does not have any specific sub controls either.
I remember a seperate slider for the sub, and a radio button for 'loudness' (boosted bass and treble at low volume).
There may be a 'loudness' button in v3.4 that I missed, but it's not something I would use.
