just updated my info on owner.ford.com.....my 16 just updated itself on apr 1st to the records....must have linked to my home network...

 

Doing wifes car as it showed it needed one....was a hang for about 3 mins at 5 of 6 updates...now its continuing....it also said could be 30mins to complete...

 

Done....had to send the updated file...xml back to ford to show the update worked...

 

wasn't aware there was an update was it all aspects Nav included??

 

My 16 is sync3 ....wifes car has mft...no nav on either...

Called Ford 35 minutes on phone and finally got it to download
Updated fine, but it reset all my settings, wouldn't connect to my phone,
Another 10 minutes on the phone for that
Now I try to report the update on Syncmyride and it doesn't want to connect to the flash drive. The .xml file is there but nothing happens.
Been on live chat 25 minutes now with no resolution
I'm thinking no more updates

 

Ok apparently these updates dont like Firefox. Used internet explorer & got it to work
