Default Sync update on chromebook possible?

Like the title says I've been trying to update my sync version using my sons chromebook that he uses for school work. I don't have a windows laptop. I've downloaded the sync update but I guess it's not a complete file? Not sure how, or if it's possible, to download all the necessary files for the update. Has anyone tried to do this using a chromebook and have had success?

Yep, shouldn't be a big deal. Just double-click the downloaded ZIP file and drag the files within to the root of the formatted USB stick.

I just tried from my chromebook and it's just a zip file so it should work no problem. What makes you think the file is incomplete?

I did move it to the usb stick but when I tried to put it on the truck it said something about it being incomplete. I will try again tomorrow and figure it out hopefully.

Did you move the ZIP file, or did you move the contents of the ZIP file? You can't just copy the ZIP file over.

There have been a bunch of issues getting the latest update to stick - regards of OS. Make sure your flashdrive if formatted exFAT. Extract the zip file locally, then move to thumb drive.

This is the folder. I've tried 2 different USB sticks the same way. I have formatted them to exFAT and FAT32. Ford says to format to exFAT.

I'm pretty sure you have to unzip the files first.
