Default Sync update (4 inch screen)

Last week sync page said I had an upgrade (2015 w/4 inch screen, built in aug.), downloaded and it failed to install, Started reading and people said ford put out a botched one a few weeks ago. Today I noticed a newer one on my sync page. It installed fine over 20 minutes of truck running. Files showed it was made feb 6th when I looked at dates on em. Does anyone have a list of what it updated or fixed?

I am new to the forum. I had problems getting this update done because I was using an apple mac book pro to load the update onto a flash drive. I used the online chat to get some help from the ford web site and they never once told me that you can not use a mac to grab the download. It took me awhile to figure out, but the download only works from a pc.

I also had a problem with the update and a MAC, used my work PC and it worked fine.

However, I cannot get my XML file to upload to fords site.

I got this to work years ago (2010?) by enabling developer mode in Safari, and changing the user agent to MSIE garbage. And if I recall correctly, I also needed the legacy JRE supplied by Apple (Really Ford? Java?) - as Sun/Oracle JRE didn't work (back then, Ford's XML uploader was Java based garbage).

I'm surprised 6 years later, this is still an issue with their cross-platform unfriendly site. Get with the program ford web devs - HTML5 and open standards is where it's at.</rant>
