I did that earlier in the driveway and there were no updates? Maybe that's the latest version?

If there are no updates I would assume you are on the latest version. Do you know which version you are running?

As far as I know, if your truck does not come with Navigation, you cannot add it later on as an update to Sync. The only way to possibly add Navigation is to buy one of the kits from a third party that "unlocks" the feature.

Of course. There are systems like this, http://www.oemautopartsco.com/collec...gation-upgrade, which allow you to take a non-navigation MFT system *it's very important you already have the 8" screen*, and activate the navigation.

For some reason, Ford won't do this but this is one of the ways that you can have navigation yourself. They even have a how-to video which makes it seem pretty simple.
